Writing on a Blog

We are making our own blog for this project. We are having very good time into Eckersley School with the teachers and our friends. We are here to learn English and to improve it.
We think a blog is a great idea because with it our friends or parents or teachers can see it at every moment.

OUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF OXFORD...

HI!!!!We are Angelica and Erika...We came from Contursi Terme. We are in Oxford for a holiday study... We are very happy. Oxford is very beautiful small city. We are arrived two days ago exactly last sunday. We were very tired because the trip were very stressful in fact we left at 7 o`clock a.m. and we arrived at 4 o` clock p.m.!!! Then we took the bus and we arrived here. We met our houst families...!! The day after we went to school , we visited a lot of monuments, churches, and we also met an italian group that came from " SORRENTO". They were very funny...!!!!! :-) So there are a lot of diffrences to our country such as the food because the italian food is better than english food. We miss pasta, pizza and so on...!!!!! Finally this evening we are going out all together, we hope that we will enjoy. ok bye bye,,, kisses!!!!! :-) :-)

Our trip to Oxford

Hello Boys and girls.... :-) :-) We are Roberta, Ivan and Rosalba... We come from Italy exactly Contursi Terme. We are doing an holiday-study trip in Oxford. We arrived Sunday afternoon and we are staying for 21 days. Yesteday we went out, we visited some places in Oxford such as colleges and churchs, while in the evening we went out with all our friends in the city center and we met a group of Italians, they were from Sorrento. Oxford is beautiful, the host families are very friendly and kind with us, the houses are very pretty and all the same in fact yesterday we got lost and we couldn't find the house..... But there is also a negativ e aspect for now: the food isn't as good as italian food.. We miss above all PASTA and PIZZA. This evening we are going to go out... We think that we will have a walk and we will all stay together. We sent a big kiss to our ITALY. CIAO :-) :-)

Our group from Contursi

It was half past five when we arrived in Oxford last Sunday.
We come from a far away place called Contursi, near Salerno, Italy.
We are twenty two students together with two teachers, who come from "Technical Institute E.Corbino" in Contursi.
We are very happy for the oppurtunity we are living. We met our families and they are very kind and nice with us. Also our teachers are very funny and friendly so coming to school isn`t as difficult as we thought and we are feeling at home.
We usually get up at half past seven a.m., we have breakfast at about eight o`clock, we usually eat milk with cereal, orange juice, some biscuits and so on. It`s delicious! After breakfast we take the bus to go to school where we have to stay until half past three.
In the afternoon we like going shopping a lot and going around the city all together. Oxford is a very nice city, there are a lot of things to do and see such as the two big Universities and the fourty collegies. There are a lot of students who come from all over the world, infact Oxford is a very multicultural town.
We are having a lot of fun and we are sure we will be very sad when we have to come back to Contursi...
